The Greatest Goaltender of all time
In the great goaltender debate, we have been fortunate enough to watch the undeniable top 3 in the current era: Roy, Brodeur and Hasek.
You can use statistics to prove any of the three is number one. But while all three were great and had unique differences, we believe that Patrick Roy stands out as the greatest goaltender of all times.
The Hockey Writers summarized it best: “Brodeur was a winner. Hasek was dominant. Roy was both of those, winning and dominating in every way possible when the lights shone the brightest.” Not to mention that he was the best fighter of the three.
