Rozsival Injury Update

Well, the unfortunate news has been shared: Michal Rozsival fractured his left ankle and will be out for the rest of the season.  Rozsival had been playing some of his best hockey of the season and was instrumental in the sweep of Minnesota.

(Warning: Not for squeamish)

At age 37, and an unrestricted free agent, we may have seen the last of him in the NHL.  Not the way he wanted to retire.

Bleacher Report added:

The Czech Republic native has played in all 10 playoff games for Chicago, but if he is unable to go in the Western Conference Final and beyond, then 24-year-old David Rundblad may have to step in.

Chicago certainly has enough talent and depth to go all the way and win the Stanley Cup without Rozsival, but being without his steady presence will undoubtedly be a detriment.
