Marc-Andre Fleury recreates scene from Slap Shot
Marc-Andre Fleury is known for having a good time.
And this time, he has it with Root Sports’ Dan Potash.
Together, they recreate a great scene from the movie Slap Shot. Fleury is playing Charlestown Chiefs goaltender Denis Lemieux with Potash playing Jim Carr.
Why did they make this video? It is actually a promo. The Penguins will play an exhibition game at Cambria County War Memorial Arena (Johnstown, PA), which was the actual rink used in the movie as the Chiefs’ home ice.
